I’m Jose Ernesto Becerril Jimenez, a designer and visualiser with a Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters in Computer Animation.

I work at the Royal Ballet and Opera in London as a Senior Visualiser, with experience in over 30 productions.

Highly skilled in 3D modelling, draughting, set and lighting design, digital scenic artwork development and recreation, texturing as well as working knowledge of lighting programming.

Available for freelance work as Set / Lighting Designer and Visualiser, driven by projects of all scales.

I approach production design from an angle in which technology helps make design and pre-production efficient and reliable alongside artistic integrity.

With a passion for classical music, I trained in violin and piano as a child which years later fuelled my drive to venture into the world of opera and ballet. Having trained as an architect where I gained strong foundations of scenic design, structural criteria and lighting principles, I then transitioned during my postgraduate studies into the field of lighting visualisation for the performing arts.
