The Marriage of Figaro

Light bursts into a deconstructed dome during the overture of Mozart’s comic opera on this personal design project.

The main structure, reminiscent of Sir Christopher Wren’s famous church domes, transforms into Figaro and Susanna’s attic, then into the Countess and Count’s respective rooms and culminates by morphing into a gazebo as the singers perform ‘a tutti contenti saremo cosi’.
